OUR BOXES IN THE HIMALAYAS
Much of the research work undertaken by BioEcoSS Ltd and Simon Poulton over the last thirty years, both in the UK and overseas, has involved small mammals. Most of this has involved live-trapping, usually with metal traps such as the Longworth or Sherman. Despite their utility, it clear that there are many drawbacks to these traps, that have remained substantially unchanged over fifty years.
In 2008, Simon Poulton had completed the pilot study of the National Small Mammal Monitoring Scheme for The Mammal Society and he was planning the launch of the full scheme. It became clear to him that the cost and availability of existing traps would be a serious constraint on the volunteers for this scheme. This prompted him to draw up plans for a new trap, designed to be entirely plastic with simple, snap-fit assembly – and at a fraction of the price.

Bespoke Correx Boxes for Avionics Sector
We are in the process of supplying an avionics company bespoke correx boxes and bins to accommodate a variety of parts that make up flight deck display systems and data sensors.
Correx Boxes for Medical Use
We’re in the process of supplying correx boxes with foam inserts complete with carry strap for a charity working in Africa.
These boxes are a vital part in helping the villagers in unaccessible areas receive medical treatment.
Blood samples can be taken by specially trained staff who ride moto-cross cycles to reach these villages, bring the blood back for testing and then take any medical action required.
Pickin Bins made from Correx
A client came to us with a request that he needed correx pickin bins for his new warehouse.
Normally pickin bins would be placed on shelving, but our client wanted us to come up with a design that would do away with shelving and racking. After a few days and samples later we perfected the design to both ours and his satisfaction and went on to produce a large quantity for him.
Cut from heavy duty correx, these storage / pickin bins are delivered flat packed and are easy to assemble. They have the flexibility to be stacked as high as required which does away with expensive racking .
As can been seen from the images, tabs at the top locate into slots at the base keeping them stable. There are also holes where cable ties can be threaded to tie the stacks together to offer even more stability. Size 595 x 375 x 238mm externally giving an internal size of 580 x 360 x 233mm.
